God of visions and dreams, your promise of a new heaven and a new earth feels like the unreality of sleep to those who have forgotten how to dream. We long to make a difference in our world, but have forgotten how to see hopelessness as the real illusion in life—for in your love, all things are possible. Work within our offerings this day, that they may be signs of our commitment to dream your Dreams for our world. Work within these gifts, we pray, that those who have lost all hope—even hope for a better future for themselves and their children—may find the vision and courage to live with passion and purpose. Amen.
